Training Center
During the planning stage of this, in 1998, an old prophet from the mainland came to Billy Graham Paulose with a word of knowledge that he had received, of what they were to build. As he proclaimed what God had told him, Billy wrote down over 20 pages of detailed notes. Soon after, he was on a journey through the U.S.A., and showed the notes to a Christian architectural firm there. They found, clearly portrayed in the prophesy, the perfect design for the building pictured here, now nearly finished. When completed, it will provide housing for 500 trainees, and serve amply for large-scale pastor conferences and Gospel crusades. The seating capacity is 20,000. There is nothing like it in that entire region of India, and nothing like it in all of India among the ministries dedicated to the furtherance of the Gospel.
Because it is on land that is given to the church, it will not be affected by the anti-conversion laws which made large-scale public Gospel meetings nearly impossible in Tamil Nadu until recently. Completion of the roof is all that remains. Three times, God has intervened to thwart official efforts to halt construction. The Training Center is rapidly coming to the attention of both friends and enemies of the Gospel. Christian ministries throughout India have reserved it clear into 2008. Fortunately, this time it will not likely be burned down.
In May 2009, the Training Center complex hosted nearly 2,000 children for five days of Vacation Bible School, followed by a four-day conference of disciples from all over India. These were pastors and their families, planting churches in Unreached Villages, who were hosted for an annual time of encouragement, edification and challenge.
