Dear Brothers and Sisters,

It is a great joy to write to you.  Thank you so much for keeping us in your prayers, and supporting the work of God’s Kingdom.  As many of you know, we are racing to finish building the POP school within the government’s deadline, in order to qualify as a  state certified children’s school.  Here is the good news: the first floor of class rooms is now complete, filled with very happy children, as you can see.  Please keep us in your prayers, as we forge ahead this coming week with the fourth concrete pour.  After that we have few more phases to final completion. Please keep praying for safety of the workers, as well as the students that are studying in the classrooms beneath them.   When completed, this building will provide education for 1500 students, who otherwise would never even have a chance for any schooling.  Your prayers and support are helping to change these young lives forever, as they find Jesus in this very unique school, which is crafted to embed the Gospel of Jesus into an excellent education.

Before we apply for the next level of certification, we need to complete regulation bathrooms for boys and girls.  Now we have only one (!) bathroom, seen here in the photo, for all 370 students and faculty.  The thatched structure is useless for shelter when it rains during the monsoons.  It has been a daily hardship for all to adapt to the deprivation, with constant waiting lines and regular calls to pump out the septic tank.  We are working very hard to get this situation resolved, in the midst of a full school and major construction, to meet the government’s standards and deadline.  The government requires 14 toilets and urinals and four sinks, in two separate fireproof bathrooms.  This all adds up to about 800 square feet of space.

This is plainly something that we cannot responsibly put off, so we are asking for those who can to extend a hand in helping to make this happen.  These two required bathrooms with running water, toilets, lights, flooring, septic system and concrete roof will cost about $ 22,000.  This will be a great blessing to the current student body, as well as thousands of children to follow in the near future.

We are required to have this done in one month in order to get the sanitary certificate from the local officers to be sent on to the State government.  We are believing and trusting God for this provision.  Please join us as the Lord enables you, to help these underprivileged children to have a better future.
